Pointer, published by Team Pointer, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page is our published standard, as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy.
You must be 18 or over to create an account. This is stated in our Terms of Service and in our Privacy Policy, and every user gives a date of birth when creating a profile. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use Pointer, and an account we find to belong to a minor is removed.
The following are forbidden without exception, and are grounds for immediate removal:
Every profile and every post carries a report control, reachable in two taps from the content itself. A report names a reason and can carry a written description, and it is sent to us directly. Users can also block anyone at any time, which removes that person from their side of the app immediately, and can write to us from Help & Support inside the app.
If you cannot use the app to reach us — or you are reporting on behalf of someone else — write to supportpointer@gmail.com. Reports concerning a child's safety are treated as urgent and reviewed ahead of everything else.
Pointer complies with applicable child safety laws in the countries where it is available, and cooperates with law enforcement requests that are properly made. We keep this standard under review and update it as our practices or the law change.
Questions about this standard, or about a specific report, go to melihemrealuc@gmail.com. For reports from inside the app, use the report control or Help & Support, or write to supportpointer@gmail.com.
